Meet Our Doctors

Using the latest advanced technology and state-of-the-art surgical methods, MPSC has four world-class plastic surgeons on staff:

• Dr. John A. Millard: Our practice’s leader and namesake, Dr. Millard revolutionized the world of liposuction by bringing VASER technology to the United States. He specializes in breast, body, and extremity cosmetic surgery and promotes quality results and safety in plastic surgery practices. 
• Dr. Laura Boschini: Dr. Boschini is double-residency-trained in both general and plastic surgery. She has performed over 1300 cosmetic surgeries in the last 15 years. 
• Dr. David Hendrick: Dr. Hendrick is a triple-board-certified facial plastic surgeon with over 30 years of surgical experience. He specializes in facial surgery, offering most of his procedures in an awake setting without the need for general anesthesia. breastwork, and body contouring.
• Dr. Meryl Singer: Board-certified in plastic surgery, Dr. Singer specializes in body contouring and advanced forms of liposuction. She also has over 15 years of surgical experience.

Meet Our Staff

Our well-rounded staff consists of doctors, registered nurses, patient care coordinators, and office personnel who work together to make your experience with us impactful. Your first point of contact with our team is with one of our talented Patient Care Coordinators Olivia Phillips and Kristina Goro. Olivia and Kristina work with patients before, during, and after their procedure process to provide information, comfort, and support. With 12 years of combined experience, they are both exceptionally qualified to guide you toward a happy and helpful experience at our practice.

We have four experienced and compassionate nurses on staff at MPSC:

• Kelly FitzHarris: With over 5 years of plastic surgical nursing experience, Kelly loves guiding patients through the preoperative process by calming their nerves and extending a nurturing helping hand.
• Azucena Chavez-Heredia: As a registered nurse and our Spanish Coordinator, Azucena assists during minor procedures and translates for our Spanish-speaking patients to keep them comfortable and informed.
• Emily Schwarz: A registered nurse for the last 15 years, Emily tends to each of her patients with care and an absolute excitement about their transformation.
• Kara Gall: Kara has over 15 years of nursing experience, most of which revolves around surgery. She takes pride in her ability to comfort and safety for each patient through the pre-and-postoperative processes.

Our Post-Operative Care Coordinator is Dana Jackson. She guides each patient through the post-operative process by providing tips and extensive care to ensure a smooth recovery. Dana also performs each patient’s lymphatic massage to boost healing. Office Manager Chelsea Barnett provides our patients with excellent customer service. She works hard to ensure every individual who makes their way to Millard Plastic Surgery leaves our office motivated and sure that they are receiving quality health care from every angle. As our Practice Manager, Paula Millard keeps the entire operation running smoothly. She takes intense pride in offering world-class customer service to our patients while also handling bookkeeping and employee management.

VASER Hi-Def Liposuction

VASER liposuction utilizes ultrasonic energy to create targeted micro-vibrations that break up fat deposits. VASER Hi-Def liposuction procedures by making them safer, more accurate, and refined. During the surgery, he uses VASER technology to define areas and accentuate musculature features to improve overall body contour. 

With the help of this specialized technology, Dr. Millard and his staff of surgeons can safely remove fat cells from the abdomen, flanks, upper arms, and thighs to sculpt the body and create masterful silhouettes for each patient. The procedure uses local anesthetic and tumescent fluid that consists of numbing medication to make the procedure virtually painless. VASER Hi-Def liposuction results in a more defined body contour and is often used to debulk hard-to-treat areas like the ankles, calves, and knees. ⁽¹⁾

Deep Plane Facelift

For total facial rejuvenation, our surgeons perform deep plane facelifts for patients looking to reduce signs of aging without the “windswept” look. This procedure lifts and repositions deep facial muscle layers and sagging skin. Your surgeon makes an incision along the side of the face in front of the ear. They navigate toward the SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System) layer beneath the subcutaneous fat layer of the skin. ⁽²⁾

Mommy Makeover

The mommy makeover is a customizable combination surgery that restores the body after pregnancy or massive weight loss. It typically includes breast restoration (augmentation, lift, augmentation with lift), a tummy tuck, and liposuction to further improve contour. Our surgeons work extremely closely with patients to create a procedure plan that addresses their specific cosmetic concerns. 

They perform these procedures in one extended surgery to diminish healing times, improve overall results, and to save time and money for their patients. Mommy makeovers allow the patient to undergo a single surgery and one recovery as opposed to multiple, restoring their body in one swift process.
