The Elevare™ Facelift: An Ultra-Deep Plane Facelift
Offered at our convenient location in Denver
The Elevare™ facelift is an innovative facelift technique that addresses the deeper, anatomical structures of your face to restore a more youthful-looking appearance. This procedure is an evolution of the traditional deep plane facelift, designed to vanquish signs of aging from the inside out.
Unlike many traditional facelift techniques that only work with your skin and the fibromuscular layer beneath it, the Elevare™ facelift extends deeper into the midface. This allows your surgeon to precisely target, reposition, and release specific supporting tissues, rather than just tighten your skin.
Millard Plastic Surgery has helped thousands of patients across Colorado and beyond enhance their appearance using several surgical and non-surgical treatments and procedures. Using a combination of advanced technology and trusted techniques, our practice has established its reputation as one of Denver’s leading aesthetic plastic surgery practices.

Personal Consultation
During your consultation, one of our surgeons and patient coordinators will meet with you to determine whether the Elevare™ facelift is appropriate for you. They will explain what the Elevare™ facelift is, the procedure’s benefits, as well as its limitations. They will also converse with you about your medical history, concerns, and goals, and perform a physical evaluation to assess your anatomy and skin quality.
They will then create a personalized solution for your concerns, discuss the most effective surgical techniques, and potentially recommend additional procedures to enhance the outcomes of your treatment. Your surgeon will also take the time to answer any questions you may have.
To schedule your consultation, please contact us online or call our Englewood office at (303) 792-5665.
Preparation
To help you prepare, your surgeon and patient coordinator will provide you with a set of personalized pre-operative instructions during your pre-operative appointment. These instructions may include:
- Discontinue the use of any medications or supplements that may thin your blood.
- Prepare to take time away from your work and other commitments for several days to focus on your recovery.
- Arrange transportation for your procedure.
- Cease any nicotine consumption in the weeks leading up to your appointment.
- Avoid any alcohol consumption in the days before and after your facelift.
- Fill any prescriptions ahead of time to ensure you have them ready when you return home.
Procedure
When you arrive for your procedure, a member of our team will take you to a private treatment room. You will meet with your surgeon and their team to reconfirm your treatment plan before they cleanse your skin. Anesthesia is administered to ensure you are comfortable.
Your surgeon will then begin placing incisions within your hairline or around your ears, giving them sufficient access while minimizing scar visibility. They will also locate the SMAS layer and dissect it to access the deep plane. Your surgeon will then release and reposition the underlying structures and layers of your face, extending deeper into the midface compared to traditional deep plane techniques.
The exact techniques and corrections your surgeon will perform will vary depending on your desired results. This approach is designed to dramatically restructure your deeper, structural tissues rather than just simply tightening your skin. They may include tightening your facial muscles, repositioning or removing fat, and more.
Recovery
It is normal to experience some temporary side effects after a facelift, such as swelling or tenderness, but these effects will subside on their own with time. To manage them, we recommend elevating your head as you rest, using a cold compress, and taking any pain medications your surgeon prescribes.
You will likely feel ready to return to light activities after about one to two weeks. However, you will need to refrain from strenuous activities until your surgeon provides you with clearance.
Throughout your recovery, you will return to our office for follow-up appointments during which your surgeon will remove your drains and dressings and evaluate your healing progress.
Results
Once you have fully recovered and swelling subsides, you will be able to see improvements in your appearance. It can take between 9 and 12 months for your full, refined results to develop as your tissues settle. You can expect to enjoy smoother, tighter skin and a more contoured and youthful-looking appearance overall.
The results of your Elevare™ facelift will last for years to come. To preserve and maintain the effects of your procedure, we recommend maintaining a stable weight and following an effective skincare regimen for your unique skin.
